INTRODUCTION
 

Have you ever really thought about why the Holy Spirit inspired the writing of the Bible? Was it simply for us to read? Or to read and memorize? Reading and memorizing Scripture only will not make us more Christ-like! It will not necessarily foster a closer relationship with the Son of God. That may be a revelation to some. In fact, it may even sound mean and arrogant. But allow me a question… if reading and memorizing were sufficient, why would God gift us with the Holy Spirit when we confess Jesus as our Lord and Savior? Let me take it a step further. In John 14:26, we read, "But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you." These are red-letter words spoken by Jesus Himself. I hope that the words "He will teach you all things" jump out at you as you read that verse. The Holy Spirit will teach you what Scripture truly means, how you, with your gift set, should be applying it in your ministry (your life is a ministry!) and how, through obedience to the Holy Spirit, we may bring glory and honor to God!
 

This book is being written as a thirty (30) day devotional with the hope that what the Holy Spirit has shared with me over the years can also benefit you in your walk.
 

Please read through each of the "THOUGHTS" presented and then pray and ask the Holy Spirit what they mean to you specifically and how that understanding can be used to grow God's kingdom, thus bring glory and honor to Him!
